Berlin’s second largest mall (after the Gropius Passagen) has changed the face of Alexanderplatz with its unusual pink exterior. Its opening at midnight in the summer of 2007 was so popular that police had to be deployed to control the frenzied crowds. Also claims to be the world’s first full shopping centre in Second Life.
