Currywurst
A staple snack for many a Berliner, we are talking cooked German sausage, chopped up and covered in a spicy tomato sauce with bread and chips. Though competition is rife, East Berliners say the best currywurst is made by Konnopke’s Imbiss beneath the train line just south of the Eberswalder Strasse U-Bahn station on the U2 line in Prenzlauer Berg.
